How scoring works
Every month is a season. Get read out loud, earn points, and the board starts fresh on the 1st.
1. What counts as a readout
Every stream is transcribed. A chat message counts as a readout when the streamer says it out loud: the message is matched against the transcript, starting … to … seconds after it was posted. Short messages must match almost word for word; longer messages get more leeway.
Not eligible: messages from bots, channel-point TTS triggers (voice prefixes and soundbites), emote-only messages, messages under … words, and messages over … words.
2. Points per readout
… point for every readout, plus two bonuses for getting read while chat is busy:
Hype Bonus (up to +…): chat is blowing up right now,
way faster than it has been.
Crowd Bonus (up to +…): the stream is generally packed and
busier than its own average.
3. Spread it out
Your first … readouts in a stream count at full value; anything past that counts half. Showing up across streams beats flooding one.
4. Streak bonus
Chatting in consecutive streams builds a streak. Each stream in a row adds +…% to the points you earn that stream, up to +…%. Missing a stream resets the bonus, never the points you already have.
5. Seasons
The leaderboard covers the current calendar month. On the 1st the board starts fresh, and the previous month's podium is frozen forever on the Seasons page. Everyone starts every month with a real shot at the top.
To appear on the board you need a score of at least … and at least … messages this season.
